Tulip field

This is the nearest to a cultivated tulip field that I have seen in the last few years. Obviously these are the remnants of a previous year's cultivation and have naturalised. I spent the whole afternoon at the Spalding horticultural auction which apparently is the largest in the country. I ended up buying 40 geraniums and 40 mixed perennials at wholesale prices so I was quite pleased with that.
