The Third Day of our Trip. 8-27-'12

We left the Madras Fairgrounds to head for Prineville, OR. We stopped at a rock shop on the way. They see rocks and have to stop. Beautiful stuff in their shop. Then to a sandwich shop for lunch and to be on the way again. We traveled east on highway 26. then turned north at milepost 41 through the Ochoco Mountains. Found a very quiet spot on the road up to where they wanted to dig for more rock. The one picture shows our trailer setting there all alone. Bob and Renee parked a little bit away from us. No other trailers around. When they came back they enjoyed looking over their rocks. Hubby is showing me one with good color in it that he wants to cut and polish. Bob poured his find out and was checking them out. Just another very fun day.
