Sentinels

These Shooting Stars reminded me of little sentinels on my walk today. Shortly after I returned home, the sky opened up and thunder rumbled. 
We have seen 2 1/2 times the normal rainfall for April, in the first 2 1/2 weeks of the month! A stormy spring, although the wildflowers are coming on strong. 

The extras include red cyclamen in a planting and a mystery wildflower.
