Treat

A day in the city today for a pre-birthday outing with great niece Jasmine (nearly 9). The first visit was to the library to stock up with books for the school holidays and then we went to Natureland - a Council owned wild life sanctuary which is home to a range of exotic and native birds and animals. Jasmine was very taken with the meerkats (main photo) and Capuchin monkeys. There was a rope outside the monkeys' enclosure for children to swing on (extra photo). Jasmine loves Indian food and the outing ended with lunch at an Indian restaurant.
