A game of two halves

Mo and I went down to Galashiels to watch Andy play for the Falcons U15s.  

He was in the programme as playing for the green team, who had the first game. I think he was initially a bit disappointed to be on the bench - but he ended up playing the whole second half. 

We'd planned to watch a bit of the second match then leave, but decided to stick around when we noticed Andy was still in his kit. And at half-time he went on to play half a game for the white team too. 

I thought he'd done well, and he'd certainly enjoyed himself. I got the impression he'd definitely got a buzz from playing at a ground with a sizeable stand and a cheering crowd.
