Orange Tulip.

Orange tulips are associated with energy, enthusiasm, attraction and encouragement. The petals, which  are edible, will draw something or someone into your life. I didn't eat any petals but they drew an old school friend to me, bearing these flowers as a gift. Tulips were first discovered in the Middle East around 1,000 years ago, now the National flower of Holland. Legend tells that the Princess Shirin  fell in love with stonemason Farhad, but her father opposed the match. He sent Farhad away to do a complex task then sent him a message saying Shirin had died. Overcome with grief, Farhad took his own life. When Shirin heard of it she went to find him, fell across his body and then also killed herself . As their blood pooled together, it formed the tulip. Red and orange being the dominant colours.
