"Jumpers for Goalposts"

Not nowadays, they are a local youth team (Abbeymead) and they have proper goalposts, albeit smaller than the professionals use. There is a half size container in the park for kit including the white line marker. They have strips and proper football boots etc.
It's in no way the football I played when I was a child in the 50's. Mind you, I've never really enjoyed football, maybe it was the cobbles deflecting the ball that I found so frustrating! HAHAHAHAHAHA
