Jeronimos Monastery in Lisbon

Back blip
We have just returned from a week in Lisbon on a guided tour. I am going to blip one  or two photos from each day.
We started our tour in Lisbon and this is the cloisters in the 16th century Jeronimos Monastery. We also went to the main square and Belem tower (extra photo - which was built as a beacon for navigators returning from the Indies and the New World and to defend the entrance of the river Tagus). We then saw the cathedral and walked up to see the lovely views.
