Photographic Poeticisms

Sailing

Oh that I might sail
On the vast ocean blue
And to the rat race
Bid a fervent adieu

A clean yacht underfoot
White sail billowing
A gentle, rising wave
My tired head pillowing

Nothing standing before
Only memories behind
Charting course unknown
Nothing more to remind

Paced by dolphin sleek
Sang to sleep by whale
No matter sea be calm
Or tossed by strong gale

No other soul to rely on
Nor another yet to heed
A spirit of the water
Alive at last, freed!
