Layers of yellow petals

On my walks at different times of the day, I'm inevitably drawn to the colour of spring flowers at this time of the year. On my early evening walk yesterday, I encountered these glorious yellow ranunculus blooms with the sinking sun shadows deepening their colour to match the setting sun.
