The Mighty Nepean

Well, this photo wasn't taken at the Mighty Nepean but at a dam near Beckett's home. TreeHugger and I headed off early this morning to Sydney. From there we just managed to catch the train (after a lot of running around to find the right ticket) to Richmond where we were picked up by Beckett. After showing us his new patch we were treated to a lovely lunch by Mrs Beckett. Then we were off to The Mighty Nepean to do a spot of bird photography. We were lucky to see a kingfisher posing nicely in a tree in the river but it was a bit too tiny and a bit far away for my kit.
We had another close call in catching the train across to the Blue Mountains to visit the Wombat for a few days. It was lovely to see Barb and Wombat Hollow again where we were made very welcome. An early night was called for in readiness for a big day out with hobbs and Trisharooni tomorrow.
