We've had this slide on loan from the toy library for 4 weeks now.  It's due to go back tomorrow.  When we first got it he couldn't even figure out how to climb the ladders (he kept putt his foot through the hole) he finally figured his way up some time last week.  He'd just stand on the top not quite knowing what to do next.  
Today was the day he took the next step and figured out how to get from the top step onto the slide (albeit not very elegantly) and for the first time ever he went down on his own (proud Mom moment) His arms go up in the air and he closes his eyes...it's so cute!!
