The City Lighthouse - Heliosturm

Looking the lighthouse up, the Internet tells me that it was either a marketing scheme or a place to test new electronics. For sure the lighthouse was build by an electrical company called Helios AG (hence the name Heliosturm), which was quite prominent in the early 20th century.
Nowadays the lighthouse is a monument for those industrial times.

Basically I just like looking at it and to think about its hilarious position right in the middle of Cologne.
