300 years old and still alive

Stowe landscape garden walk today with the head gardener.

Interesting to hear about forward plans stretching some 20 years into the future. All the plans link to the returning the gardens to their status in the mid 1700 when the estate was developed.

The oak tree in todays blip is a survivor, it was even in a fire which the fire brigade had to extinguish. The leaves are just breaking.
