World Heritage site illuminated

Maritime Greenwich marking 20 years since it was awarded World Heritage Site status by illuminating sites representing over 500 years of Greenwich’s cultural heritage.

We walked through the park after dark (it normally closes at dusk, but stayed open until 10pm), then down past the Cutty Sark, the Old Royal Naval College, National Maritime Museum, and then up to the Royal Observatory (see some of the extras). Afterwards a quick drink in the Plume of Feathers.
