Friendly Kate

Patience has had her first ever calf a lovely big heifer calf called Kate. Patience was a pet calf from the farm where we manage the livestock in 2013. She was so named as you needed patience to teach her how to sook from the bottle. The calf wandered over to husband and got a scratch under her chin. She is only a couple of hours old in this picture. Extra is the pair together.

Only one new lamb today. Wishing the girls would get on with it.

Changeover day and thankfully very tidy so not too much hard work. Shame to waste a sunny day inside cleaning.
