Garden Birds at the Feeder

It is not often I feel very welcoming when I see Starlings at the feeder as they just get through the feed at such a rate and we have had as many as twenty starlings around the feeder at one point. However, this afternoon there was not a lot of action at the feeder so I  did feel a bit more positive about this bird who appeared on his own. When starlings feed they are too heavy to sit calmly on the perch and their centre gravity would turn them upside down if they clung on. Instead they constantly flap their wings to maintain their position. This  works well in 4K video capture as you have a whole series of the birds with their wings up and down and you can just sort through them for the best ones. I quite like this one as you can see the food in his beak as well as having a nice wing position.
