Pretty bush (name unknown!).

Several days ago the washing machine broke when the door fell off! The good news is that on Friday night, Neil and I fixed it and so yesterday I managed to catch up on lots of washing. Thank fully. Today we noticed water trickling down the back wall of the wardrobes (built in ones) and noticed water marks not only on ours and Theo's bedroom ceiling but also downstairs under where the bedroom adjoining wall is. On inspection, we have a burst hot water pipe in the loft running from the header tank which must have been slowly leaking water for several days/weeks. So we've turned the water off, and have run the hot water taps to empty the tank and leaky pipe but of course have no water until it's fixed. Hence why I am grateful I did so much washing yesterday! (And im also very grateful for wet wipes!). So after several phone calls, we headed out to Bath to run some errands and then came home late to mow the lawns and play in the garden (Neil doesn't fancy tackling this plumbing job and I can't get in the loft!).

Today's blip is of the really pretty bush at the back of our garden which looks stunning at this time of year. The extra photo is of the cooking apple tree with all its blossom - fingers crossed for a good crop this year.
