Enzo the Baker

Civil War

has finally reached Great Malvern. The Parliamentary forces seemed unopposed in their occupation of a corner of the Priory churchyard.

Meanwhile:

Independent Record Store Day was busy (extra).

J. and I caught the tail end of a very splendid Mayoral Service in the Priory (two verses of God Save the Queen) which overlapped with a retiring vicar and an anniversary of the local St John Ambulance team

we then met C. in the Theatre, which makes sense as she works there

and later met Dr P. on the hills, which was less predictable, and had the delight of Mrs P. and the three young Ps for tea.

So, a day of friends and sunshine, and promotion for Lincoln City FC -  back in the League, out of exile in the Conference.
