Blipmeet with aprecious

It's been a fabulous day, it rained and was cold, but we didn't notice. We spent some time just looking at sights and driving through coastal towns near us. We stopped in Hull, Massachusetts to tour the quaint Lifesaving Museum, strangely enough, aprecious grew up in Hull, UK. My maternal grandfather was a surfman involved in rescues off the coast of Maine in the mid 1900s. The young man who showed us around was really interesting and so well versed in everything about lifesaving in the days of sail and coastal paddleboats.

A bit more driving through the beautiful streets of Hingham to Scarlet Oak Tavern for lunch. We were surprised by my sister-in-law and very pregnant niece. They were attending a bridal shower in another part of the restaurant and just happened to see us. Sarah is huge and more than ready for the baby to be born!

We went home after our tasty lunch to greet Raspberry and relax with cups of tea. We had dinner together here and then drove aprecious back to her airb&b.  The conversation flowed all day long and we really felt like we had known each other for years. The gift of shared connections forged through blip journals defies words, but is beyond measure. I can attest to that this magical week.

For the Record,
This day came in cold and rainy.

All hands smiling.
