Four Stages

Awake early and went into the garden as the light was beautiful.
In the shady corner this dicentra or more commonly known 'bleeding heart' really stood out.
How fascinating to see the different stages as the bud emerges into the flower.

Decorating and decluttering going well.
Only the glossing for Mr P to do and the little bedroom will be finished and l can set it up as a workroom/studio.
Two last jobs for me:
I've amassed all our family photographs together and now need to sort them into some sort of order, not a job for today.
Secondly l currently keep lots of fabric remnants in the different places.
Am now going to keep them all together and be really brutal and discard more than half of it, well that's the intention!

More gardening planned for later, did get the potatoes in yesterday!

Will be watching The London Marathon on TV first.
I ran it once in 1983 and shocked myself when l realised that was 34 years ago!
Can still remember how nervous l was on the train going out on my own to the start in Greenwich.
But what a great day it was.
Good luck to all who are running today.
