Dacre

After yesterday's exertions, it was a gentle stroll today from Dalemain to Dacre and back.(both are near Penrith )

In the photo you can see Ros, Tam and Jim by Dacre castle...Chloe didn't make the director's cut!

Nearby, in St Andrew's churchyard, there are four stone bears ( probably pre Saxon )...worth googling...see the 'extra' photo.

A splendid weekend...Tam & Jim are now heading home on the train...

But they were fortified for the journey with a marmalade cream tea at Dalemain!
