Fairy Dust Emporium

Off to the seaside today. It was a little bracing although there were some people in shorts! 
A 'small' hot chocolate and a cream scone were in order at this eclectic Emporium, stuffed with fairy dust and fluffy things. A fabulous idea with comfortable arm chairs and delicious food. I'm glad I didn't ask for the large hot chocolate, the small one was just right. It gets very busy in there and  you often have to book. See here Fairydust Emporium.
A short drive to Beckfoot where we strolled along the beach collecting little bits of driftwood. Back into the car and little further down the coast to Allonby where mum and dad used to have their caravan. More walking and reminiscing, it's another of those 'milestone days' for mum. It's 56 years since her and dad when on their first date, happy times. Extra is mum beach combing with Criffel (hill) over the border in Scotland.
