April 23rd .England and Saint George

Another beautiful day with sun and blue sky. It had to be a day in Lancashire the county of the Red Rose and so it was we began at The Inn at Whitewell with fine food .Set in  beautiful surroundings, it's breathtaking ... The stepping stones proved a challenge but I made it both ways.Then we drove around the villages , stopping for refreshments and pictures. An amazing number of twin lambs to be seen. On then to the Scarecrow Festival at Wray .An annual event this shows creativity at it's best . Later I hope to make a small video showing a few of the works of art !
This huge St George was very impressive .
