Lorikeet Feeding

Grand-daughter A went to the San Diego Safari Park today on a school field trip. I volunteered to be one of the parent chaperones because I have a seasonal pass. I also came prepared today and remembered to bring an arm covering and glove, so she wouldn't get scratched by the Lorikeets perching on her arm while they come to feed. We bought two small cups of nectar of nectar. She is holding one of them, and has already attracted a hungry bird. We came to this exhibit first because the birds will fill up on nectar quickly and not be interested as the day progresses.
