He's stealing my icecream!

After yesterdays adventures we had a much needed late start to the day. When we finally did manage to get going, we headed over to Lantau Island to see Big Buddha and Po Lin Monastery and Tai O fishing village. It was one of those rare days here where it was quite clear and the views from the Big Buddha over the surrounding landscape were breathtaking. But it was also really really hot. So we got ice pops. And one of the cows came over and was insistent on sharing mine..... this went on for a few good minutes until he decided to move along to another individual who had quite a fright when the cow plopped his head on the poor souls lap. 

Later we took the bus to Tai O to see the dried fish market and traditional stilt houses. And then we got in line for the bus back. IT WAS THE LONGEST BUS LINE I HAVE EVER SEEN! It kept going and going and you would turn the corner and it would still keep going and when you thought you got to the end it went on some more. I kid you not. Thankfully every time a bus left another one arrived so it only took a bit over half an hour to get to the front of the line. 

To finish off the day we had snacks and drinks at one of my favorite places, the IFC mall rooftop garden.
