Autumn Dayz : At Arrowtown

We have had a long, but wonderful day at Arrowtown.  The 17 of us walked down the Arrow River to this bridge, where we had our lunch.  Back upstream on the track on the other side of the river.  We then divided into two groups, one group went to the cemetery and war memorial, while the other group looked at the old miners cottages, and a couple of churches, Anglican and Catholic.  It was supposed to be an hour guided tour, but lasted for two very interesting hours.  Didn't get back into Wanaka until 5 p.m.

The extra photos are of the main street in Arrowtown, friendly smoke from one of the old miners cottages, and a fireplace in one of the old cottages.  It was an excellent day out among the beautiful autumn leaves in Arrowtown.
