Diamond Jubilee

We went to a little hilltop village called Church Hougham which every other year opens the church, Old School House and various garden bootfair stalls and marquees to raise money for village causes. The sun always seems to shine and today it was gloriously hot and sunny. Quilts hung in the church and over the altar a Union Jack quilt and statue of the queen with original newspapers from 60 years ago on the knee rest.
