Migrant in Moscow

Majestic sky

Heavy rain clouds over Moscow this evening although the rain has so far  been light and scattered (as the forecast might say).

In background, the Church of Christ the Saviour, built to celebrate Russia's victory over Napoleon in 1812.  It took 27 years for work to start in 1839 (Alexander I signed a decree saying so in 1812) and then another 40 years to finish the job in 1883 - by which time, Alexander III had ascended the throne.
