Birthday pudding !

Mrs AMK decided my birthday should be celebrated with a trip on the train to Edinburgh and a friend had recommended lunch at the Scran & Scallie in Stockbridge. Great suggestion as we had a lovely meal and unknown to me one of the waiters had asked why we were in Edinburgh - just as well my pudding was ideal for the surprise candle ! Nice touch from the staff and along with the excellent food another reason to revisit in the future.

Lovely walk from the station to the restaurant on a bright sunny day although the temperature has plummeted in the last few days due to the arctic winds - we even saw hailstones when we were in the restaurant.!
