Spring flowers

These lovelies were gleaming in the spring sunshine a few minutes ago. You could almost forget that it was white over and the car needed defrosting before I could go for my swim.

(A swim on a snowy morning is delightful.....steam rising from the water... blue skies with no clouds....tiny silver aeroplanes in a holding operation, waiting to land in Birmingham.)

It's now gone dark and cloudy. I think we're in for a touch of more winter.....
