The Car is the Star

A magnificent summer's day, sunny and warm. After coffee we went up to Crathes Castle to take a look at the Castle gardens. Somewhat to our surprise a wedding was taking place in one corner of the Walled Garden. This was followed by a wedding buffet in a marquee on the grassed area in front of the castle. They were amazingly lucky to have chosen one of the few and best summer days we have had this year.

The bride had arrived in a old Morris Minor. The car attracted a huge amount of interest amongst the visitors to the castle. Such that it seemed the car was the star of the wedding rather than the bride and groom.

Later we made a visit to Stonehaven. I don't think I have ever seen so many people on the beach around the harbour. The two pubs in the harbour must have had a bumper day.

Again I am not really happy with the sky in this picture. However rather than Photoshop I think this might have been caused by the polarising filter.
