Fresh Green with Blossom

We enjoyed our dog walk in the Penicuik Estate a lot more than yesterday. It felt slightly more spring like and there was even some sunshine. This is a view of the walled garden with the fresh green and blossom on the trees. Shortly after this near the Roman Bridge I spotted some turquoise by the river, and there it was: my very first sight of a kingfisher. No time to take a picture so we just stood and admired.
