Now get out of that one

I haven't yet troubled you with tales of the replacement of the gas pipes in our street. There has been a lot of discussion about how they will get at the supply to our house as there is an extension to the house built over part of it and a super heavy duty cobbled driveway built over the rest.
Cutting to the chase this morning they started digging in a place that wasn't what Mr EAnn had relayed to me. Instead I am going to end up with an ugly services cupboard on the front of the house because that's what Mr EAnn thought was a good idea and failed to mention. And they've dug up the cobbled path. Not pleased.
And then they knock on the door this morning to say can they put the spoil from the hole outside our neighbour's house on our drive. No they can't. We need to be able to get the car out. So 11.30 arrives, time to get the car out, and on the drive is this and not a workman in sight.
We did get it moved in time to make an early showing of Their Finest which was excellent.
Tomorrow we have no gas. I shall be glad when this is finished.
