Deepcut Heron

The Heron today wasn't too spooked, though the 2 dogs helped in chasing it further down the canal.

Not sure if Herons eat Coot chicks, suspect they do. Sadly seems only 1 of the 8 chicks still swimming around. No wonder he was hiding under mum earlier in the week.
