Happy Birthday Dad!

It is my Dad's 74th birthday today. From an early age, I remember him growing Gladioli to show in competitions - much of our garden was set aside for it. Indeed, he won lots of trophies through doing so. A photograph exists somewhere from a newspaper of me (about 18 months old) holding one of his trophies. He instilled my love of flowers and gardening and I'll be eternally grateful for that. I am now instilling that love of nature into his Grandson...
