Abstract Thursday 96, Landscape

This is a page from an old atlas, in the section explaining how landscapes change and develop over time.  This is showing how water coming down from the mountains creates valleys and gorges on it's way to the sea.
"New rivers are born and old rivers are rejuvenated,.The life cycle of the landscape - a ceaseless renewal - begins again."
