I took Mckenzie for an eye test today,  as the school had expressed concerns.
The optometrist was patient when the inquisitive 5 year old wanted to know what everything was.  She even let him look into her eyes, with a very expensive special torch (although she did seem slightly nervous in case he dropped it!!)
Her conclusion was that he has perfect vision.  Thank goodness :)
We took him for cake to celebrate.  Not that we need an excuse to eat cake!
