WHERE THERE'S LIFE . . . (?)

There was great excitement at the homestead this week when we celebrated St George's Day, with nearly half of the residents enjoying tea and buns bearing the flag of England's national saint. One attendee even wore a tee-shirt similarly decorated, and a good-ish time was had by all, with plenty of iced dainties left over, providing an unexpected treat for a small group of Scrabble players later in the day.

Two camera-toting residents combined forces to produce this collage of the occasion, giving credence to the saying: "We don't have to stop playing when we grow old, we just grow old if we stop playing."

Phew! That was tiring, but I still feel the urge to blip occasionally and must thank you all again for your kind messages.
