Ready for off?

The house martins were gathering along the telephone wires this lunch time.
They have a long journey in front of them.
It amazes me how they can fly to Africa and back.
The wonder of nature!

Can you remember the group from Hull called "The Housemartins"?
Most famouse hit was "Caravan of Love" 1986.
Fatboy Sim (Now Olympic DJ!) was the bassist.
Paul Heaton and Dave Hemingway went on to form The Beautiful South.

(I wonder why they called themselves the Housemartins?)

Another beautiful day. Off to friends for another barbecue!
It's a hard life! Must make the most of the good weather, sounds as if next week it is back to rain!
