Lilac time

I wish you could enjoy the strong perfume of this miniature lilac! As the flowers emerge the smell is getting stronger every day. The flowers are a much smaller version of the regular lilac, and the bush is a neater shape.
We had the garden to ourselves today as the path builders are waiting for supplies. They promise they are on schedule, but this will involve working all over the weekend, including Bank Holiday Monday! It is the following weekend that we are expecting visitors, so fingers crossed it is done by then.
