Dipper

The Dippers are working hard to collect food ( nest site very close).

I would have got some good shots today (I was lining up one with both birds in) but a loose dog ran into the river splashed around for a good distance then back past me and away - the owner never sighted !

The Dippers scattered a good distance away in opposite directions - I caught up with one but it flew back upstream and I had to get back so gave up the quest for a better photo.
