Flower Friday

I still have a few tulips and daffodils out , but the trees have finally started to bloom.The apples are just so beautiful and the smell is heavenly. They will always be my favorites, though the pear and cherry and weeping Japanese cherry are blooming - though the latter is sparse this year. The  redbud (extra) is out and is really getting large enough to put on a very nice display.My service tree has dropped half it's petals . As soon as the berries show up , so will the waxwings.The grass is a carpet of violets ( I don't do lawn care , so it's a mess , but in spring it's a wow. Well, all least till we have to cut the grass.
