Sunshine

This the wonderful Reverend Eugeniah Adoyo, vicar of St Anges in Longsight and today she led a short service at which mum's ashes were laid next to my dad's. Earlier this week would have been their 60th wedding anniversary. She was supported by Lewis who came and introduced himself. He had worked with my dad for 40 years and spoke fondly of him, he mentioned that when he was off sick my dad would take his paypacket round so that he wasn't short of money.

Cal and I are having a wander round Manchester now and having visited St Anne's church we are taking the air, and a libation, at Mr Thomas's Chop House. We might pop into The City Arms next as we meander towards The Britons Protection.
