Ponderosa Patterns

Yesterday it was man-made patterns at the Portland Airport, today it is natural patterns of the Ponderosa Pine Tree. Being in Bend demands one get out of the house and experience nature in some way, shape, or form. We chose to hike to the largest Ponderosa Pine tree located in the La Pine State Park. While this bark is not from that particular tree, I was inspired by the 162 foot tall pine to capture a number of bark photos as we hiked through the park. This one was the best of the bunch.
