Viburnum plicatum f. tomentosum 'Pink Beauty'

The day started with our riding lesson, finally starting to get to grips with the slightly difficult horse I ride and we now have more dressage moments and less camel impersonating ones :)

Afterwards we decided to explore the garden centre near the riding school, great hot chocolate and homemade raspberry frangipane and some great advice too. Another boot and footwell load of plants acquired as an investment of the garden vouchers we'd very kindly received as house warming gifts.

On returning home we made a start on preparing the shady border, it will be home to hellebores, hostas, hydrangeas, iris, foxgloves and a couple of varieties vibernum.

Hope you had a good day too.
