Side Road Home

Took this very narrow, windy and pretty road down off the Parkway and among other things we were rewarded with the view of this small waterfall.

When we were at Biltmore yesterday we didn't buy any of the nativities from their Christmas shop, but we did get two awesome pieces. See the extras. I saw the Lamb & the Lion and Kent just loved it. I saw the Santa with the animals at his feet and presto, it was my birthday present! I am one happy birthday girl!

I was hard to leave the cool temperatures of the mountains and return home to the heat but here we are home once more. Laundry being done so we will be ready to start the week but even after our wonderful trip I'm ready for my own bed.
