WE GOT RAIN.......

We got rain last night, 2 hours of soft rain, 1 hr of hard rain.  That was wonderful as we have been under a mandatory burn ban for 3 weeks +.   That set the stage for this morning.....   I have spread 1/2 a bag of insect killer for ticks, fleas, and those pesky assassin bugs that are visiting.  The ground is still wet  the granules will melt.  
   We are due for more rain maybe Wed, but better on Thursday and Friday.
I will spread the rest of the bag on Thursday and then all should be well for another 2-3 years (I haven't put down insecticide in 3 years now).  I am also hoping the squirrels are happy because there is a lot of water sources now.
