Jardin des Roses

This garden is called: Jardin des Roses and is part of the Toon Hermans House in our town.
Roses are beautiful, but also have thorns. The roses and their thorns in this garden express what people experience when faced with cancer in their daily life.
The Toon Hermans house is a meeting place for people and their love ones, who are struggling with cancer.

So I passed this garden today on my daily walk and went inside.
