Petunia

Try as I might, I just couldn't get my head around a mono shot for MonoMonday. Usually something presents itself, but that wasn't the case today. So here is a trio of Wild Petunia, Ruellia caroliniensis, a Florida Native Wildflower. I love their color! My *extra* today is our little dog, Maica. She was playing in the bog behind the pond and was so cute, I just had to take a photo. Maica says to "Please look at and admire my photo, 'cause Maura hardly ever takes pictures of me, only that Clown, Tara...woof!".
